We are proud to be part of a Ground Engineering Awards 2026 nomination for the Equipment Innovation Award.
Our partner LloydsDatum (Socotec), alongside GEARS, Tarmac, the University of Liverpool, and the Mineral Products Association, submitted a project using our Micromate Plus on "Evidence-led blast-monitoring technology for quarry operations" for consideration.
It’s an honor to contribute to research that helps advance safer, smarter, and more efficient quarry operations — and to be recognized as part of a predominantly construction-focused award program.

We are excited to be a part of the BlastWave Conference at the University of Liverpool on January 14, 2026, alongside our dealer LDG Datum.
Supported by MPA and the University of Liverpool, Gears—with contributions from LDG Datum—will unveil new guidance recommendations for quarry blasting operations.
