What You Need to run Blastware Software

Blastware® Software can run on any IBM-compatible PC with the Windows® 2000 or XP operating system with the following requirements:

  • CD-ROM drive

  • Mouse

  • SVGA or higher screen resolution

  • USB port for the Advance Software hardware dongle (when using the advanced software module and a USB to Serial communication cable for the unit, an additional USB port is required)

  • RS232 Serial Port for communication with the unit

  • Printer (optional)

  • Modem (optional) - U.S. Robotics® 56k External Modem recommended.

    • Note: If you currently have Blastware Advanced, your existing parallel port dongle will not work with this version of software download.

I use Instantel monitors and I am upgrading to Version 8 from an older version of Blastware Software.

I do not currently use Instantel monitors, but I would like to evaluate the Blastware Software prior to possibly purchasing an Instantel monitor.

I do not use Instantel monitors, but I need Blastware Software to review, analyze, or print events that were collected by another party.
