What is the Innovation Award?

The Instantel Innovation Award recognizes and honors the outstanding vibration monitoring work that Instantel customers do. When the world’s most challenging projects – large and small – require vibration and blast monitoring, Instantel users are there with their trusted Blastmate® and Minimate® seismographs.

To celebrate Instantel product users for their ambitious work, Instantel Innovation Awards are awarded throughout the year to challenging projects that use Instantel instruments innovatively as part of the solution. Presented to organizations around the world, Instantel Innovation Award winners receive:

  • A unique, crystal Innovation Globe;
  • Publicity from Industry Announcements that are published in international trade publications announcing the selection of a winner and a brief description of the project;
  • Online promotion on the Innovation Awards page of the Instantel web site; and
  • $500 USD bonus to be used towards a celebratory event for the project team.
How do I Nominate a Project?

You can nominate a project at any time. To enter a nomination, complete the Nomination Form and submit it with an overview of the project, and project photos to Instantel. Nominations may be sent via email or by regular mail.

The project overview should be no more than two pages and include:

  • a brief description of the project;
  • the timeframe and budget involved;
  • specific challenge and innovative solution using Instantel monitors;
  • the results achieved; and
