Pile Driving Monitoring
Pile driving activity causes repetitive transient vibration pulses. Reliable monitoring of these pulses requires a unique set of instrumentation features. You need the capability to monitor continuously over long periods of time and record peak velocity data at regular intervals. You also need to capture enough data to be able to understand the possible causes of high vibration readings, because if these readings cannot be explained, your job may get shut down.
The Instantel® Histogram Combo™ combined recording mode was designed for this application, and provides you the continuous monitoring capability of histogram recording, along with the unique benefits of waveform recording to define anomalously high readings. This allows you to quickly analyze and determine the validity of high readings, because there is no sense in shutting down your equipment every time someone slams a door or accidentally kicks the sensor.
Histogram Combo coupled with the Instantel Remote Alarm product will ensure that you maintain operations within regulations and the project criteria.
