Dynamic Compaction Monitoring
 The use of dynamic compaction causes repetitive, transient vibration pulses which quickly dissipate. Dynamic compaction with vibratory rollers and large weights being dropped from cranes, and even the creation of the isolation trenches to limit the impact of the vibrations, can cause damages that result in legal claims.
You need the capability to monitor continuously over the duration of site preparation and compaction activity, and record peak velocity data at regular intervals. You also need to capture enough data for analysis to help mitigate damage to surrounding structures, such as foundation walls.
The Instantel® Histogram Combo™ and Histogram record modes were designed for this application. Histogram Combo provides you the continuous monitoring capability of Histogram recording, along with the unique benefits of waveform recording to define anomalously high readings. This allows you to quickly analyze and determine the validity of high readings. Histogram Recording, also referred to as Strip Chart Recording, coupled with the Instantel Remote Alarm product and the
Instantel® Auto Call Home™ program, will ensure that you maintain operations within regulations and the project criteria.
